Refund policy

Thank you for shopping with Engraving Arts. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return an item, please review the following policy:

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • You may return most new, unused, and undamaged items within 7 days of delivery.

  • To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it:

    • Unused and in original packaging.

    • All tags and labels attached.

    • No signs of wear or damage.

  • The following items are not eligible for return (unless faulty or damaged):

    • Personalized items

2. Initiating a Return

  • To initiate a return, please follow these steps:

    • Contact our customer service team at info@engravingarts.co.za or 0714921717 within 7 days of delivery to request a return authorization (RA) number.

    • Provide your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.

    • We will email you an RA number and instructions on how to return your item(s).

  • Items returned without an RA number will not be accepted.

3. Return Shipping

  • Customer Responsibility: You will be responsible for paying for your own return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • Our Responsibility: If you are returning an item because of our error (e.g., you received an incorrect or defective item), we will pay the return shipping costs.

  • We recommend using a trackable shipping method to ensure that your return is received. We are not responsible for lost or damaged returns.

4. Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If your return is approved, we will process your refund to your original payment method within 2 business days.

  • Please note:

    • Shipping costs are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.

    • Depending on your payment provider, it may take additional time for the refund to appear in your account.

5. Exchanges

  • If you would like to exchange an item, please follow the return process outlined above.

  • Once we receive your returned item, we will process your exchange and ship the new item to you, subject to availability.

  • You will be responsible for any price difference between the original item and the exchanged item, as well as any additional shipping costs.

6. Damaged or Defective Items

  • If you receive a damaged or defective item, please contact us immediately at info@engravingarts.co.za or 0714921717 within 7 days of delivery.

  • Provide your order number, a description of the damage or defect, and any supporting documentation (e.g., photos).

  • We will work with you to resolve the issue, which may include a replacement, refund, or repair, depending on the situation.

7. Cancellations

  • Orders can be cancelled within 12 hours of placement.

  • If an order has already been shipped, it cannot be cancelled and the return policy will apply.
